Didier Reynders offers his condolences after train crash in Democratic Republic of Congo

It is with great sadness that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders learned of the tragic train crash the day before yesterday in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The accident occurred on the Katongola Bridge, fifty kilometres from Kamina in the Katanga Province. The train derailed and dozens of people lost their lives. The train was travelling from Lubumbashi and was on its way to Mwene-Ditu in the province of East Kasai.
Minister Reynders offers his condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded.
