United Nations recruitment exams for the “2013 young professionals programme”

Foreign Affairs reports that the United Nations is organising its recruitment exams for the “2013 young professionals programme” in Belgium this year.

Only candidates with a university degree (related to the subject) who are not older than 32 on 31 December 2013, have a very good knowledge of languages (French and English) and preferably already have work experience are eligible. Only the most qualified applicants will be invited to participate in the written test.

The exam consists of a written test and an interview. The written test will be held on 3 December 2013 in Brussels for five subjects: administration, finance, legal matters, public information and statistics.

Applications for the Administration, Finance and Public Information subjects can be submitted from 3 June to 1 August 2013. Candidates for the Legal Affairs and Statistics subjects can submit their applications from 8 July to 5 September 2013.
