Didier Reynders congratulates Prime Minister Netanyahu on his new government

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders congratulates Benjamin Netanyahu for the formation of a new government and therefore for his second term as Prime Minister. He is looking forward to pursuing fruitful cooperation with him.

Didier Reynders hopes that the new government will quickly resume talks with the Palestinians to achieve peace and security. He is calling on parties to take their responsibilities and to avoid doing anything that might jeopardise the peace process. The Minister reiterates that a balanced two-state solution must be found. This is in the interest of both parties and of the whole region.
