10th anniversary of the Emile Bernheim Foundation’s work placement programme

date: 10 October 2012

10 October marks the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Emile Bernheim Foundation’s work placement programme. Every year, this programme provides six students with the opportunity to participate in work placements in the Directorate-General for European Affairs and Coordination of the FPS Foreign Affairs and with the Belgian Permanent Representation to the European Union.

On the occasion of this anniversary, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders met with around 50 former work placement students in the Egmont Palace. The Minister feels that this work placement programme provides young people with the opportunity to discover the European mechanism and gain some experience. This Minister therefore also wants to continue supporting this successful programme in the coming years.
